Info Regarding the 2nd Game Period: Relocation |

As previously reported, on April 14 the new game period starts, featuring various changes to the game mechanics. In addition, several new cities with many free building sites will be created. If you want to move to one of these cities or to one of the already established ones - during the first 7 days after the start, you will have the possibility of relocating without restrictions. We'll only make sure that there's no more than one Patrician in each city, and donations will, of course, stay in the city where they were made. |

In Feburary a survey was held about the new version of the Catan Online World and the Catan Online World in general. 1065 users with Premium-Account participated, who we want to thank. Thanks goes also to RedPiranha, who take on the effort to convert the data into nice diagrams. The document with all results can be downloaded here.

In four weeks on April 14th, the 2nd period of the Catan Online World Metagame starts. In the last weeks we have analysed the progression of the current game period, gathered objections and suggestions from the communty and develoved some changes for the next game period on that basis. The document with all important informations can be downloaded here.
Beside these changes for the Metagame the document also includes two important changes for the game statistic, which affect Premium- as well as Free Account users.
In addition new cities will be founded for the second game period to take care of the housing situation in the english-speaking cities. Further information is following in the next days.

Faulty reactivation links |

If you are using a Free Account and if you have not played in over 7 weeks, your account will automatically be deactivated. You will then receive a reactivation code via e-mail - if you click it, you will immediately be able to play again.
For some time now, however, faulty web links have been sent out. They look like this:
http://www.playcatan.com./index.php?step=5&id=xxxxx&key=yyyyy
Since yesterday afternoon (CET), those links resulted in the following error message: "404 - Article #xxxxx not found"
If this happens, please click into the address bar of you browser and change "www.playcatan.com." to "game.playcatan.com". Afterwards, the link should look like this:
http://game.playcatan.com/index.php?step=5&id=xxxxx&key=yyyyy
That way, account reactivation should work without any problems. |

The planned survey regarding the Catan Online World version 3 und the Catan Online World in general will start next week. We kindly ask every premium account user for participation. As a little gratification 1 gold will be granted.
The survey will last a week. Simply use the survey-tool in your own house or hostel (click on the backpack and choose "Actual Survey").
The survey starts on Tuesday (around server reset at 10 CET) and lasts until Wednesday the following week at the same time. |
