If you are using a Free Account and if you have not played in over 7 weeks, your account will automatically be deactivated. You will then receive a reactivation code via e-mail - if you click it, you will immediately be able to play again.

For some time now, however, faulty web links have been sent out. They look like this:

http://www.playcatan.com./index.php?step=5&id=xxxxx&key=yyyyy

Since yesterday afternoon (CET), those links resulted in the following error message: "404 - Article #xxxxx not found"

If this happens, please click into the address bar of you browser and change "www.playcatan.com." to "game.playcatan.com". Afterwards, the link should look like this:

http://game.playcatan.com/index.php?step=5&id=xxxxx&key=yyyyy

That way, account reactivation should work without any problems.
