PlayCatan is the online platform for games by the famous game designer Klaus Teuber. In addition, we offer PC games for download for the Windows and Mac OS X platforms.

Your first option is to register a Free Account. A Free Account gives you access to the free browser games; you participate in monthly prize drawings, provided that you have attained a certain position in the browser game rankings (the pool of players eligible to participate in the prize drawings are represented in the rankings 1-10 and 11-100). A Free Acount also grants you a guest status in the Catan Online World; however, it  provides only limited access to it.

In order to take advantage of all Catan Online World features, a Premium Account is required. The Premium Account has a monthly subscription fee of €4.90 EUR or $6.90 USD (including sales tax) and may be cancelled at any given time, effective on the last day of the pre-paid month. The subscription fee for the current month has to be paid in advance. As an alternative, you can also book a 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month subscription package for €13.90 EUR, € 26.90 EUR, or €52.90 EUR or $19.90 USD, $38.90 USD, or $76.90 USD, repectively (including sales tax) without automatic renewal. By subscribing to a Premium Account, you will automatically become a citizen of the Catan Online World with complete access to all games.

To register an account, please click on the menu button “My PlayCatan.” However, if you just want to download a PC game like “Catan - Cities & Knights”, you do not need to register an account.

Registration is necessary only if you want to enter the “Catan Online World” from inside your “Catan - Cities & Knights“ program. The “offline” game against computer opponents does not require registration.
